The British media personality Sharon Osbourne is speaking out in a new interview to say that she’s “living proof” that you can be “blacklisted” in America. This comes nearly two years after she lost her job on “The Talk” when she dared to defend her friend Piers Morgan from accusations that he is racist for criticizing Meghan Markle.

Osbourne Sounds Off
“I got threats!” she said of the aftermath of her scandal on “The Talk” as she appeared on “This Morning” in Britain on Monday, according to Daily Mail.
When asked about moving back to the U.K., Osbourne replied, “I can’t get arrested in America. It went wrong. It went very, very wrong.”
“They say there isn’t blacklisting in America but I’m living proof that there is,” she continued.”Not that I’m resentful or whatever. It’s just a fact of life, it happens doesn’t it?”
When asked if she believes that she got cancelled, Osbourne replied, “‘Yes I did.”

Osbourne Stands By Defending Morgan
Osbourne went on to stand by her defense of Morgan, who was accused of racism after he criticized Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in March of 2021.
“I got threats and things like that… It’s like I can look at myself in the mirror, and I know I can talk and I’m loud and I know that about myself,” Osbourne explained. “But I’ve never spoken with hate and I stick up for my friends and that’s what I was doing. I know who I am.”
Osbourne lost her job at CBS after defending Morgan, and she had to hire 24 hour security and go through months of ketamine therapy to get over what happened.
“Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave ‘The Talk.'” The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home,” CBS said in a statement released at the time.
“As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace,” the network added. “We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.”
Osbourne has since moved on and is enjoying her new gig on “TalkTV.”
“At TalkTV I don’t have to [hide what I think] because everyone has different opinions,” she said this morning. “And we all say what we feel in a respectful way. There’s no hate speech or ‘I’m really secretly part of this party.’ People say what they feel and you’ve got a space to feel it and its great.”

Osbourne Moves Back To U.K.
Osbourne also has no regrets about leaving California to move back to the U.K. When asked why she decided to move back to her home country, Osbourne replied, “Age, life changes and everything changes so quickly.”
“I stopped one day and it’s like: ‘what are we doing here? We don’t belong here!'” she added. “I’ve always been very English and I’ve never been a brit that goes there that has a bi-coastal accent. It’s just not me. I’m British and I belong here.”

That being said, Osbourne admitted that she had some difficulty convincing her Black Sabbath frontman husband Ozzy Osbourne that this move was the right decision.
“It’s been so long since he spent time here. It’s like for him ‘I don’t know where to go any more!'” she said. “But I’d rather have the grey and drizzle than the sunny life there. The best place in the world to go for a holiday is LA. But to live there… when you’re still very British. It’s not for us.”
What happened to Osbourne on “The Talk” was both alarming and incredibly unfair. We’re glad to see that she appears to have bounced back and is loving life again in the United Kingdom!
