Whoopi Goldberg was humiliated on Wednesday’s episode of “The View” when “Shark Tank” star Barbara Corcoran made a fat joke at her expense. Goldberg’s cohost Ana Navarro immediately leapt to her defense with a dig at the outfit worn by Corcoran, who has since issued an apology after the cancel culture mob went after her for “fat shaming.”

‘The View’ Derails With Fat Joke

Check out how it all went down below.

It all started when “The View” cohosts and guests were talking about Good American founder Emma Grede, who is set to appear on “Shark Tank” tonight, making history as the first Black female guest shark.

After her co-host Sunny Hostin praised Grede’s denim empire, Goldberg asked, “Will they fit this COVID [butt]?”

After Hostin and co-host Ana Navarro assured Goldberg that the pants would fit, Corcoran unleashed her fat joke.

“And when you get finished with those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me. I’m gonna make two pairs,” Corcoran exclaimed.

Navarro Fires Back

Goldberg was left speechless and appeared to be stunned into silence as the audience erupted into boos.

That’s when Ana Navarro leapt to her defense with a dig at Corcoran’s choice of wardrobe.

“Whoopi, let me just tell you something,” Navarro said as she ripped up her question cards. “Both Sara Haines and Jill Biden wore that dress already on TV.”

“Donald Trump Jr. tried that on me. It didn’t work! No no no,” Navarro continued, referring to the former president’s son recently mocking her weight.

Corcoran Issues An Apology

Barbara Corcoran has since issued an apology to Whoopi Goldberg, and to anyone else she may have offended.

“I just came back from ‘The View’ and saw my old friend Whoopi,” she said in her apology. “As you well know, she has a phenomenal sense of humor and I’ve known Whoopi for years.”

“I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny,” Corcoran added. For anyone who I may have offended unintentionally, I just wanted to say I really am very sorry.”

“Love ya Whoopi,” she captioned her video.

At the time of this writing, it’s too early to tell whether Corcoran will face permanent repercussions from the cancel culture mob from her failed attempt at a joke.
