Anne Heche Storms Off After ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Elimination
“Anne was not happy — she was furious. She drove off the lot and refused to do any press,” a source told Page Six about Anne Heche’s behavior following her DWTS elimination.
Prior to her DWTS elimination on Monday on Monday, Heche performed a powerful Paso Doble set to Katy Perry’s “Rise.”
Before the song, she opened up about her intimate relationship with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
Heche explained the next day that being eliminated minutes after putting herself out there in that vulnerable way was especially difficult.
The Six Days Seven Nights actress said that’s why she ended up storming off the set of the ABC dance competition show.
“The honest truth is that it took 20 years to process and share that story, so finally, telling it and being voted off on the same night was not the best feeling,” Heche said.
“It did feel good to tell my story to show that we have come a long way, and we see things with more acceptance now — even though we are not all the way there yet, it’s important to recognize how far we have come.”

Watching Dancing With the Stars with Mom, and she just gave me Anne Heche’s resume:
“She used to be on Another World, and I think she used to be Ellen’s girlfriend. But she’s not Ellen’s girlfriend anymore.”

Heche dated DeGeneres from 1997 until 2000, and she admitted to her “Dancing With The Stars” partner Keo Motsepe that the relationship “changed my life forever.”
“My story is a story that created change in the world, moved the needle for equal rights forward,” Heche said. “In 1997, I met Ellen DeGeneres at the Vanity Fair party and that was the night that changed my life forever.”
“My movie premiere for Volcano, I had told them that I was taking Ellen as my date and I was told if I took Ellen, I would lose my Fox contract. At that moment, she took my hand and said, ‘Do what they say,’ and I said, ‘No thanks,'” she continued. “I took Ellen to the premiere and I was ushered out by security before the movie even ended and was told I was not allowed to go to my own after-party for fear they would get pictures of me with a woman.”
“I was in a relationship with Ellen DeGeneres for three-and-a-half years and the stigma attached to that relationship was so bad that I was fired from my multimillion-dollar picture deal and I did not work in a studio picture for 10 years,” Heche added.

Ellen DeGeneres Has Her Own Problems Right Now
Anne Heche’s dramatic exit “Dancing With The Stars” comes at a difficult time for Ellen DeGeneres, who has been publicly accused of exhibiting diva-like behavior herself.
Over the past few months, dozens of current and former staffers on her eponymous talk show have come forward to accuse Ellen of turning a blind eye to racism, intimidation, and sexual misconduct on the set of her talk show.
It seems everyone in Ellen’s orbit is making headlines for all the wrong reasons these days.
