Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton launched their own YouTube channel this week with a video that shows off a playful side of the Royal couple that the public rarely gets to see.
William And Kate Launch YouTube Channel
William and Kate launched their official “Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge” YouTube channel on Wednesday by posting a video that was essentially a highlight reel of some of their best recent moments.
The launch was met with a positive public response.
Their playful highlight reel amassed over 2.5 million views and the channel itself almost 500k subscribers in under 48 hours.
The video included clips of Kate shooting a bow and arrow in Bhutan and William flying a helicopter.
In one clip, the couple can be seen filming their 2021 St. Patrick’s Day greeting, in which William spoke the native Irish language.
“You don’t need to roll your r’s,” Kate told him.
“Do I not roll those?” he replied, at which time Kate shook her head as she replied, “No.”
The video actually opens with William and Kate joking around with each other before filming.
“By the way, be careful what you say now because these guys, they’re filming everything,” William said while pointing to the camera. Kate burst out laughing as she responded, “I know!”

William And Kate Celebrate 10th Anniversary
This comes just one week after William and Kate celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary by releasing some rare footage of themselves with their three children: Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis 3.
The touching video showed that despite the fact that they are royals, they really are just a normal family.

Princess Charlotte Turns 6
This also comes just days after Charlotte celebrated her sixth birthday, and William opened up to the public about his little girl’s big day.
“She had a lovely day, thank you,” William said, according to Hello! “Last year it was her birthday in lockdown, but this year we were able to have one other family over. They grow up very fast. It was great fun.”
They also celebrated Charlotte’s birthday by releasing a photo of the child wearing a dress designed by Rachel Riley.

“It was such a treat to see Princess Charlotte wearing our button front floral dress to mark her sixth birthday! She looks so happy in the picture,” Riley told Vanity Fair. “We look forward to seeing Princess Charlotte’s style develop as she continues to grow and mature and we have no doubt she will become as much of a style icon as her mother is.”
William and Kate have shown time and time again that they are true class acts, and they are clearly raising a lovely family.
We can’t wait to see what the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do with their YouTube channel going forward.
