Things just got a whole lot worse for “Fuller House” star Lori Loughlin. A former federal prosecutor warns that her two daughters may still be charged in connection to the college admissions scandal.
Lori Loughlin’s Daughters May Be Charged
Yahoo News reported that former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani stated that Isabella Rose Giannulli, 21, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 20, may still face charges.
“At a minimum the daughters will be witnesses in a trial against their parents, but they could also be charged as defendants,” Rahmani said.
One Twitter user shared her take on whether Lori Loughlin’s daughter are complicit:
If I were a daughter of #loriloughlin & she paid a $500,000 “donation” towards my college & I was recruited for the USC crew team & I NEVER played the sport.
I think I’d know ?
YUP ~ Charge the daughters as well.

“The government has made it clear that they are going to keep increasing pressure on both Lori and Mossimo. By not pleading, Lori and Mossimo are exposing their children to being charged.”
Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli both plead not guilty to charges and share an attorney despite being warned this could be detrimental a Federal judge.
The couple each face up to 45 years in prison on various Federal conspiracy charges. The charges allege the couple paid $500,000 in bribe money to have Isabella and Olivia admitted to the University of Southern California (USC) as members of the crew team despite not having previously rowed crew.

Things Could Have Been Different
Unlike many of the other parents involved in the scandal, including former “Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman, Loughlin and Giannulli have refused to accept responsibility for their actions and have stuck with a not guilty plea to all charges.
Authorities released Felicity Huffman from the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California known as “Club Fed” after serving just 11 days of her 14-day sentence.
Could This Break Lori Loughlin?
While Rahmani thinks it’s possible that the two young women could face charges, a source close to the family disagrees.
“If Lori had any indication that the girls were at risk, she’d want to plead guilty — even though she believes that she did nothing wrong. She is not going to let them spend time in jail for something that they didn’t do. Lori is a fantastic mother who would take the fall for the girls even if it cost her everything.”
Rahmani’s comments are just the latest blow. Just last week, prosecutors charged Loughlin and Giannulli with an additional count of conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery.

The new charges upped the amount of prison time they each were facing from 40 years to 45. The source close to the family that it was this additional charge that pushed Loughlin to her “breaking point”.
“It just gets worse and worse for her,” the source said. “And you have to remember: nothing new has happened. They could have charged her with all of this last spring. But they waited. She feels like she is a scapegoat.”
Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose No Longer Enrolled At USC
Clearly this must be a very scary time for Lori Loughlin’s daughters. Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose have been laying low since the college admissions scandal broke last spring.
Earlier this month, USC released a statement to PEOPLE saying that “Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli are not currently enrolled” at their school.
“We are unable to provide additional information because of student privacy laws,” USC added.
From the start of this scandal, it has been unclear just how much Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade each knew about what their parents were allegedly doing to get them into college.
If for now other reason than to save their daughters from potentially life-ruining charges, it’s time for Loughlin and Giannulli to finally take responsibility for their actions and enter a guilty plea.
