The Hollywood star Kirk Cameron of “Growing Pains” fame is currently traveling to public libraries all over the country as he embarks on a mission to “take back story hour” for kids and families in “a woke and broke America.”

Cameron Sounds Off

“More parents have been crying out more loudly than when we first started this book tour in December,” Cameron, 52, told Fox News

Cameron visited the Chatham County Public Library in Savannah, Georgia this morning from 10am to 1pm, and he was joined there by the country music star Coffey Anderson.

Before the event, Cameron explained that Americans want “real faith and morality for our children,” and that “people are beginning to see the speed and intensity with which an alternate set of values is taking over our culture — and the Grammy performance the other night is a perfect picture of the moral state of the union.”

Cameron is likely referring to Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Grammy performance that saw them perform the song “Unholy” in a way that can only be described as Satanic. Check out that performance for yourself below, but we must warn you that many will find it deeply disturbing.

Cameron Calls For Change

“People are crying out even more now,” Cameron continued. “You had a mainstream celebrity dressed up as Satan, and men dressed as women performing erotic acts on stage, with no warning — all sponsored by your favorite health care professional, Pfizer.”

“If we don’t turn the tide quickly, it will soon be ‘The Sam Smith Show’ in your kid’s classroom,” he added. “That’s why I’m hitting the road and going state to state, library to library, to sound the alarm and wake up those who are asleep or on the sidelines — so that we can win back the hearts and minds of our children.”

Cameron went on to point out that we can’t count on celebrities to help us with this.

“We can’t look to celebrities to do that. We can’t look to the government or to schools to do that. Change in America does not begin at the White House,” he said. “It begins at your house.”

Cameron is currently promoting his children’s book “As You Grow,” which tells the story of an oak tree developing through the seasons of life, and teaches kids various biblical morals. In a time when drag queen story hours at public libraries are all the rage, what Cameron is doing is needed now more than ever.

“The message I kept hearing was, ‘Thank you for coming to our city. People have passed us by and written us off thinking that we want this woke mafia to teach these values to our children — and it’s not true. We love what you’re bringing, and we’re so thankful that you’re here,'” he said.

Cameron’s Sister

Cameron is the older brother of the actress Candace Cameron Bure, who has been targeted by cancel culture in recent months for saying that her new network Great American Family will “keep traditional marriage at its core.” Despite being slammed for this by leftists, Cameron Bure refused to back down.

“All of you who know me, know beyond question that I have great love and affection for all people,” she said. “It absolutely breaks my heart that anyone would ever think I intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone. It saddens me that the media is often seeking to divide us, even around a subject as comforting and merry as Christmas movies. But, given the toxic climate in our culture right now, I shouldn’t be surprised.”

God bless both Cameron and Cameron Bure for refusing to back down from their strong Christian values. We need more celebrities like them in the world!
