Things got weird on the ABC talk show “The View” once again last week when Joy Behar asked her co-host Whoopi Goldberg an incredibly intimate question on live television.

‘Why Are You Holding Your Breast?’

“A 45-year-old tech mogul is taking the obsession over turning back the clock to a whole new level,” Goldberg, 67, said on Thursday’s show, according to The Sun. “He’s spending two million dollars a year enlisting a team of 30 doctors to bring his body back.”

“Wait,” she added before putting her hand to her chest as she struggled to hold back laughter. “He’s spending all that money to bring his body back to being an 18-year-old body.”

“Why are you holding your breast?!” Behar, 80, proceeded to bizarrely ask. This led to the entire audience cracking up laughing at the absurdity of this exchange.

“I’m holding myself in check so that I read the story and that I don’t make any kind of judgment calls for this fool spending two million dollars a year with 30 doctors trying to get his 18-year-old body back,” Goldberg explained.

Goldberg Scolds Behar

This comes two months after Goldberg slammed Behar for loudly popping a Tic-Tac as she talked about a mass shooting in Virginia.

“Please don’t forget those who are not going to be so fortunate, and really try to be thankful, because tomorrow’s never promised,” Goldberg said, according to Yahoo News. “And this is, you know, it’s the Thanksgiving show and we want to be up and rolling with it, but it is very hard to start these shows sometimes because of the things we sometimes — what are you eating?”

This came as a loud pop could be heard over a mic, and this was followed by loud crunching, much to Goldberg’s dismay. Behar admitted to eating the Tic-Tac and expressed shock that Goldberg caught her, saying that her co-host had “super sonic hearing,” but the other women on the panel were not having any of it.

“No! That was — they heard it over there!” Goldberg said, with co-hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin agreeing that it was “very loud.”

Behar Has ‘No Plans’ To Retire

Behar was one of the original co-hosts of “The View” when it premiered back in 1997, and though she was briefly fired back in 2013, she was brought back in 2015 and has been on the show ever since. Despite the fact that she turned 80 in October of last year, Behar has said that she has “no plans” to retire anytime soon.

“I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while,” Behar told People Magazine around the time of her birthday. “I have no plans to retire.”

“It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways,” she went on to say of the ABC talk show. “Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in daytime. Most-watched! I’m happy to be a part of it. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”

As for Goldberg, she’s come under fire recently for doubling down on saying that the Holocaust was not about race. Though she’s issued an apology, calls have been growing for ABC to cut all ties with her due to her alleged anti-semitism.

Many will feel that it is time for both Behar and Goldberg to be shown the door on “The View,” and their latest bizarre exchange does nothing to help that. It remains to be seen how long ABC executives will think that it’s worth the trouble to keep them around.
