UFC Fighter Driven is a feature where UFC middleweight Marvin Vettori takes us through a day in preparation for his upcoming fight vs. Andrew Sanchez this Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 158. He first gives us some insight about his Italian roots and the tough road he’s taken to make it to the UFC.
Then he introduces us to his nutritionist and explains some of his weight management techniques. We follow him as he goes through an intense work out with training partner Kelvin Gastelum, followed by a massage therapy session that has become a vital part of his training, and he ends the day with a one on one grappling session with Beneil Dariush.

UFC Fighter Driven: Marvin Vettori
Vettori, who will turn 26 years old next week, is hoping to give himself an early birthday present vs. Sanchez. This past July, he earned his first victory since 2017 when he scored a decision over Cezar Ferreira.
Last year, Vettori showed just how tough he could be when he battled current interim UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya to a split decision loss. Overall, he is 13-4-1 in his career, including a 3-2-1 record inside the Octagon.
Update: The bout has been removed from the card after Sanchez pulled out on Thursday due to an illness.
