AEW is pushing hard to re-sign Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, but WWE is also in the mix. Plus, Alexa Bliss is reportedly on a hiatus.

Push To Sign Kenny Omega & Young Bucks

In pro wrestling, letting talent go is simply part of business. We have seen both WWE and AEW lose talent, only for them to sign with the competition.

While AEW might be willing to lose some wrestlers, they do not want that to happen with three names. Those would be The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, they noted how AEW is working hard to re-sign them. The report continued how the goal is sign them to long-term deals.

“With the Bucks, while they may do well in WWE, it’s not guaranteed,” the report stated. “And, they will have a better schedule in AEW, meaning more time with the family.”

“Also, they would have less matches and can do their style. With Omega, he doesn’t have kids and he would likely get a major push and would have no end to having fresh opponents.”

While Omega did speak to WWE in 2018 and 2019, he still wants to work in Japan. AEW has a working relationship with NJPW, which is something WWE does not have.

Due to injury, Tony Khan added time to Omega’s contract. The AEW boss has been vocal about wanting to keep Omega as part of his company.

WWE’s tag team division has never been strong. Instead, they focus mostly on singles action between their men and women.

In all likelihood, it sounds like Omega would fair much better than The Young Bucks.

Already, AEW lost one of the founders, Cody Rhodes, back to WWE. And, Rhodes is being pushed right to the top, which would incline AEW talent to see WWE will give them a huge push as well.

Be prepared for a major battle between WWE and AEW over those three names.

Alexa Bliss Hiatus

Kenny Omega Young Bucks

Alexa Bliss has not been spotted since the Royal Rumble in late January. On that evening, she lost to RAW Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair.

Afterwards, Uncle howdy appeared on the screen and sent her a cryptic message. That is a pattern fans have seen for months, as there have been plenty of hints she was going to side with Bray Wyatt again.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated Bliss is on another hiatus. Also, they mentioned how the current hiatus will be longer than the previous one.

Before the recent hiatus, Bliss finally turned heel again. She seemed somewhat possessed and began showing a more aggressive side.

With Wyatt set to meet Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, perhaps WWE is holding-off her return until that show.
