Since the WWE Network moved to Peacock earlier this year, fans are used to seeing “edits” in programming. Sounds like some major cuts were made to WrestleMania 37, more recently.

Major WrestleMania 37 Edits

WrestleMania 37 was a weekend to remember. With live WWE fans in attendance for the first time in over a year, Raymond James Stadium was rocking.

The event was amazing. However, WM 37 still did have some hiccups along the way.

After months of anticipation, night one of ‘Mania didn’t start on time. This was due to a rain delay.

Delete, Delete, Delete!

A major WM 37 moment that was edited was the rain delay. Interesting that this would get cut since it is a big part of the event’s history.

Another moment that was cut included Mandy Rose slipping on the ramp while she headed to the ring. This drew a ton of fan and social media attention.

It’s important to note that Rose’s slip was brought into the storyline between her and Nia Jax, the following Monday Night RAW. The fallout of WrestleMania 37 replays has also been cut.

This isn’t the first time that WWE content has been deleted on Peacock. Other moments in the company’s history have been cut in the recent past.

These “edits” include segments where DX, Goldust, and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper were sporting blackface. Vince McMahon saying the N-word to John Cena during a promo done years ago was also cut.

With that said, moments will be edited moving forward for a variety of reasons. On to other news, a report indicates that two of the WWE talent recently released were let go because of … pouting?

2 WWE Wrestlers Released For Pouting

WWE Black Wednesday 2020 was a sad day for fans of the brand, talent, and the company as a whole. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a slew of wrestlers was released on that day, last year.

One year to the exact date (April 15th), the WWE announced more cuts to the rosters. Ten superstars in total were let go.

Those talents included Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Tucker, Mickie James, Wesley Blake, Kalisto, Mojo Rawley, Bo Dallas, and Chelsea Green. Many fans and wrestling journalists were stunned by the releases.

Pouting Gets You Fired

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, two talent firings occurred after complaints were issued. One of the superstars released “pouted” when they were not used in WrestleMania 37.

Additionally, another superstar complained about a lack of booking for their character. It’s important to note that the two wrestlers described in the report were not named.

Added specifics on other talents released were not provided in the report. It should also be noted that the “pouting” and “complaining” were the main reasons behind being let go, but they may not have helped the situation.

All the WWE superstars let go this past Thursday, April 15th are on a 90-day no-compete clause. This means they can’t sign with other promotions until July 14, 2021.

Hopefully, fans can look forward to seeing most of the 10 superstars above in other wrestling companies come the summertime.
