Andrade has issued a challenge for AEW and Impact Wrestling Champion Kenny Omega. Now, Kenny Omega has responded to that challenge on social media.

TripleMania XXIX

AEW Impact Andrade Kenny Omega Challenge

Since leaving WWE, Andrade joined Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Since arriving on the promotion, Andrade issued a challenge to AEW and Impact Champion Kenny Omega.

In a taped video package, Andrade challenged Omega to a match at Triplemania XXIX. And since Omega travels across promotions, this is a match that could happen.

It did not take long for Kenny Omega to get in on the conversation. He promptly responded to Andrade’s challenge on social media.

Omega did not immediately confirm he would face Andrade at TripleMania XXIX. However, he did respond in true heel fashion, keeping in line with his current character.

Andrade’s challenge does not come from nowhere though. After all, Kenny Omega beat Rey Fenix in 2019 and became the AAA Mega Champion.

Since leaving the WWE, Andrade is looking to make a name for himself on the Lucha Libre circuit. Considering his overall recognizability, it seems that he will succeed.

The WWE did not treat Andrade right, despite his great talent for the business. He originally did great in NXT, but disappeared quickly on the main roster.

Unhappy with his role in the WWE, Andrade requested his release from the company this year. Fortunately, we did not have to wait long to see Andrade in action again.

At this point in time, it seems likely that Omega will face Andrade. And we have to be honest, we are very excited about it!

Kenny Omega Runs The Wrestling Business!

Kenny Omega

It would be no exaggeration to state that Kenny Omega is the current king of wrestling. After all, he managed to get the AEW and Impact title simultaneously.

Of course, this is not the only thing that makes Kenny great. Looking at what he did for pro wrestling the past couple of years, he certainly carried the business.

Kenny Omega and his involvement with AEW has changed the current landscape of pro wrestling. Now, the WWE is no longer the end destination for wrestlers who want to be successful.

AEW has attracted some of the best in the business and their fan base is continuously expanding. So much even NXT had to switch to another day of the week to be able to compete.

Omega is in large part responsible for the past and current success of AEW. Of course, there are other men that contributed to the success greatly including Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks,- and Tony Khan.

It is wonderful to see that different promotions can cooperate and share their fanbase. There is no monopoly between AEW, Impact, and the other indies other there.

The WWE’s business model is becoming outdated. While this is bad news for the WWE, it is good news for the wrestling business.

More opportunities are created across all brands as more and more fans find their way to the indie wrestling circuit. Kenny Omega’s cross brand title reign certainly contributed to this.
