Griffin Dunne, best known for starring in the 1985 cult classic After Hours, has admitted to the taking the virginity of Princess Leia herself, the late actress Carrie Fisher.
Dunne Claims He Took Fisher’s Virginity
“I was doing her a favor,” Dunne, 68, told Page Six. “She had a boyfriend and she didn’t want him to know she was a virgin and she trusted me and gave me the honor.”
That being said, the sex was not mechanical, according to Dunne.
“No, we were into it,” he explained. “We had a few practice sessions. Look at her, she was gorgeous!”
“I couldn’t have been luckier,” he added, admitting to being “hardly Casanova, but I was a tad more experienced.”
Dunne remained friends with Fisher, who was best known for playing Princess Leia in Star Wars, until she died in 2016 at the age of 60 from sleep apnea (and cocaine in her system), according to Daily Mail.
“We had a core group of friends,” Dunne said, revealing that they all keep in touch in a group chat where they share “a memory” of Fisher, “an irreverent filthy story or the funniest, most unpublishable things you can imagine.”

Dunne’s Memoir
Dunne is currently promoting his memoir “The Friday Afternoon Club,” which is set to hit stores in June. In the book, Dunne will write about his famous family that includes Vanity Fair writer his father Dominick, his murdered sister and Poltergeist actress Dominique and his aunt Joan Didion, a famous journalist.
“In his early 20s, he shared an apartment in Manhattan’s Hotel Des Artistes with his best friend and soulmate Carrie Fisher, while she was filming some sci-fi movie called Star Wars and he was a struggling actor working as a popcorn seller at Radio City Music Hall,” the book’s synopsis reads.
The synopsis goes on to say that the book “is no celebrity memoir. It is, down to its bones, a family story that brilliantly embraces the poignant absurdities and best and worst efforts of its lovable, infuriating, funny and moving characters – its author most of all – finding wicked, self-deprecating humor and glints of surprising light in even the most harrowing and painful of circumstances.”
Fisher’s Death
The world was stunned back in 2016 when Fisher passed away after suffering cardiac arrest while on a flight from London to Los Angeles on December 23. Paramedics managed to remove her from the flight and rush her to the hospital, where she later died.
“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,”” reads the statement.” her family told People Magazine.
“She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly,” added her daughter Billie Lourd, who was 24 at the time. “Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

Fisher’s grief-stricken mother Debbie Reynolds, who starred in the beloved classic Singin’ In The Rain, died of a stroke the day after her daughter at the age of 84.
“She’s gone to be with Carrie,” Reynolds’ son Todd Fisher told NBC News afterwards. “She loved taking care of her and now she’s gone to be with her.”
Fisher will always live on through her work playing Princess Leia in six different Star Wars movies over the years. In real life, she was a talented writer who was known for her quick wit and hilarious comebacks.
One can only imagine what she would have to say about Dunne’s claims regarding her virginity if she were alive today!
