The country music star Lainey Wilson is opening up a new bar in Nashville, Tennessee today. The bar is called Bell Bottoms Up, and it’s true to her Louisiana roots!

Wilson Opens Nashville Bar

Wilson’s bar, which is located on 120 3rd Ave. South in Nashville, is opening its doors today. Ahead of the opening, Wilson told Fox Business that fans “ain’t ready” for how good it will be.

“Oh, the menu? You ain’t ready for this. That’s all I gotta say,” said Wilson, 32. “We sat down and did a tasting test the other day, and they just about had to roll me out of there because it was that good.”

“I can’t give away all the details just yet, but it’s good — and think about where I’m from,” she added.

Wilson was born and raised in the small town of Baskin, Louisiana, which only has a population of about 200 people. Though it has nothing to do with Louisiana, Wilson also revealed that one of her favorite desserts will also be on the menu.

“Well, this has nothing to do with where I’m from, but we are going to have a skillet cookie because chocolate chip cookies are my favorite,” she said. “So, come for some dessert.”

Wilson Has Dreamed Of Opening Nashville Bar

Wilson went on to say that opening her very own bar has been a dream of hers for many years. She’s always wanted to name it Bell Bottoms Up because it reminds her of her style of both music and clothing.

“For years I’ve said if I had a bar on Broadway, or down there in the mix of it, that I wanted it to be called Bell Bottoms Up,” she said. “I’ve had that idea for years and I think we kind of spoke that into existence.”

Wilson concluded by saying that she wants the bar to feel like her music to her fans.

“I want people to feel like they can come in and be themselves and lean into the things that make them them,” she said. “I think it’s going to tell a story — I’m a sucker for a good story.”

Other Country Music Stars Who Own Nashville Bars

Wilson is far from the only country music star to open a bar in Nashville. In 2018, Kid Rock opened his Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘n’ Roll Steakhouse in the Tennessee city. The massive bar includes five floors, four stages, and six bars, and it can accommodate two thousand people.

That same year, the country music star John Rich opened his Redneck Riviera honky-tonk bar in Nashville. The Tennesseean reported that his bar has three stories and includes a rooftop deck with sweeping views of Music City.

The bar has two live music stages, a DJ on the roof and a bar on every floor. Two of these bar are  “Heroes” bars that offer special by-one-get-one free prices to veterans, active duty military personnel, and first responders.

Other country music stars who own bars in Nashville include Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. We wish Wilson the best of luck on this endeavor as she joins them!
