Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany have been married since 2015, and they have two young children together. In a new video, Jason is opening up about how he and Brittany manage to stay grounded while he is touring.
Jason And Brittany ‘Lean On Each Other’
Jason, 47, told Fox News that he and Brittany, 35, “lean on each other” in every aspect of their marriage, including his grueling touring schedule.
“We’re a team, and we kind of deal with everything together as a team, whether it be… stuff that’s going on with me or stuff that’s going on with her,” he explained, adding that they “lean on each other for a lot of that stuff.”
“We’re on the same page,” he continued. “[Brittany] knows the lifestyle… that she kind of signed up for. And she’s been, you know, a great fit for that. She knows the drill at this point.”
Prior to her marriage, Brittany was a singer herself who competed on season 11 of American Idol. She made it to the Hollywood round before being cut prior to the life shows.
“Just to have somebody sort of in your corner to be your, almost be your hype man or just to kind of have your back all the time is really nice,” Jason stated. “So, you know, it’s just a good thing for sure.”

Jason And Brittany’s History
Jason was still married to his first wife Jessica Ussery, who he married in 2001, when he met Brittany in 2012. He divorced Jessica in 2013 and began officially dating Brittany a year later.
US Weekly reported that Jason and Brittany married in 2015. They have since had two children: son Memphis, 6, and daughter Navy, 5.
Jason has previously admitted that it took some time for him to find the balance between work and family life. Now that he has, however, he finds that they’ve developed “a pretty good system.”
“Everything we do is sort of a family event. And I kind of leave that up to my wife,” he said. “We have a pretty good system in place now and makes it easier for me.”
Jason And Brittany Attend ACM Awards
When Jason and Brittany attended the ACM Awards in Austin, Texas earlier this month, they rented a house so that they could stay there with their children.
“I got the whole squad out here,” Jason said.
During the ACM Awards, Jason paid a powerful tribute to the late Toby Keith. The beloved singer died back in February after a battle with stomach cancer at the age of 62. Check out that tribute below.

Jason’s Tour
Jason is preparing for a busy summer, as he will kick off his “Highway Desperado Tour” on June 8 in Florida. He’s scheduled to perform through October 5 in Georgia. While some may struggle with spending this much time on the road, Jason loves it.
“It’s my favorite part of what we do,” he explained.
Based on their previous comments, it’s likely that Brittany and the kid will be with him every step of the way!
