The A-list Hollywood star Sandra Bullock celebrated her 60th birthday last Friday. In the wake of this milestone, she is reportedly “ready” to find love again.

This comes one year after her longtime partner Bryan Randall, a renowned photographer, lost his battle with ALS at age 57.

Bullock Is ‘Ready To Get Back In The Game’

“Sandra’s gradually reemerging into public life,” a source close to Bullock told US Weekly. “She’s excited about what the future holds. She’s ready to get back in the game.”

Bullock shocked the world back in 2022, when she announced that she was taking a break from her acting career.

“I’m so burnt out. I’m so tired, and I’m so not capable of making healthy, smart decisions, and I know it,” she said at the time. “I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I’m gonna be for a while.”

Bullock has not appeared in a movie since 2022’s Bullet Train. When she announced her hiatus, it was not public knowledge that Randall had ALS.

“Sandra needed the break to be with her family and Bryan,” said a second source.

Bullock Devastated By Randall’s Death

The first insider chimed back in to say that losing Randall “has been one of the hardest experiences Sandra’s gone through.”

Bullock had previously described Randall as being the “love of her life” in a 2021 interview.

“We share two beautiful children — three children, his older daughter [Skylar, 30]. It’s the best thing ever,” she said. “I don’t need a paper to be a devoted partner… I don’t need to be told to weather a storm with a good man. He’s the example that I would want my children to have.”

Bullock is mother to Louis, 14, and Laila, 9. She adopted them in 2010 and 2015 respectively. After Randall’s death, Bullock leaned on her loved ones.

“Everyone from family to close Hollywood friends stepped up to help her in any way they could, and she’s forever grateful for that,” a third source later stated.

Bullock Has ‘Missed Acting’

Now that she has mourned Randall, Bullock feels ready to get back to making movies.

“Sandra missed acting,” the first source explained.

The third insider revealed that Bullock is also interested in making more movies with her former costars like Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatum, and Hugh Grant.

“Sandra values working with longtime friends in the industry,” added the first source.

The first source went on to say that while Bullock is “open to the possibility” of dating in the future, for now she’s still “healing slowly, keeping Bryan’s memory alive and focusing on her children.”

These days, as she plots her Hollywood return, Bullock is focused on spending time with her kids.

“Sandra’s a really hands-on mom,” said yet another source. “The kids are involved in sports, and Sandra attends all their games. They all love the outdoors and go on bike rides and hikes together.”

Bullock Turns 60

As she turns 60, Bullock is also getting introspective.

“Sandra views turning 60 as a [time] for reflection,” the first source concluded. “From Sandra’s perspective, apart from a couple of lucky breaks, [her career] is the result of very hard work by her and her team. In that sense, turning 60 really is something to celebrate.”

Indeed, Bullock has long been known as one of the most down to earth people in Hollywood. We can’t wait to see her make movies again, and we also wish her the best of luck in finding love!
