We don’t think we’re breaking news here when we say that “MAGA World” has been on a bit of a tear lately celebrating various political victories. For Republicans, it’s been a long four years since COVID, so many are understandably taking the opportunity to party it up.
We’re also not breaking news to say that MAGA has created a pretty diverse coalition, which sometimes makes for strange bedfellows.
Which brings us to Donald Trump super fan Kid Rock, and MAGA Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado.
The pair were reportedly seen getting into a taxi cab after leaving a bar at around 2:30am last month.
Rock Spotted With Boebert
A source claimed to Page Six that they saw Rock, 54, and Boebert, 38, getting into a cab in Washington D.C. at around 2:30am. The pair had just left one of the inaugural balls celebrating the second presidency of Donald Trump.
The source suggested that it appeared that Rock and Boebert had every intention of keeping the party going, if you know what we mean. However, the publication was quick to clarify that there was no specific evidence of their intentions.
The next day, TMZ reported that Rock and Boebert were seen talking together at one of the inaugural balls the night before.
“Lauren was totally transfixed by the rock star, yapping away, doing a little dance, and clapping like she was front row at his concert — basically giving Kid Rock all the hype he needed,” TMZ’s report claimed.
And can you blame her? Kid Rock is awesome! But what’s the truth of the matter? Well…
When asked for comment on this story, Boebert’s press secretary said, “I think we’ll pass.”

Boebert And Rock’s History
Rock and Boebert have quite a lot in common. Aside from their political views, they are both proud gun owners. They also each have experience in the restaurant world. Boebert previously owned the Colorado restaurant Shooters, where waiters were allegedly encouraged to carry guns. Meanwhile, Rock currently owns Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk and Rock & Roll Steakhouse in Nashville, Tennessee.
Boebert and Rock have additionally each found themselves in hot water for doing questionable things in public. In September of 2023, Boebert and a male date were kicked out of a musical performance of the show Beetlejuice in Denver for “disruptive behavior.” You can use your imagination there.
Boebert later apologized for the incident.
“The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” Boebert told The Colorado Sun.
Boebert went on to blame her behavior on a “public and difficult divorce.” She said that this has created a “challenging personal time for me and my entire family.”

Rock’s Nashville Meltdown
As for Rock, he’s also no stranger to controversy. Yesterday, we reported that just last weekend, he cursed out a crowd at a Nashville bar for not clapping enough during a surprise performance that he was giving.
“You know what, [expletive] y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone,” Rock told the crowd before storming offstage.

Rock’s Waffle House Brawl
Then of course there’s Rock’s 2007 arrest after a brawl at a Waffle House. He had stopped at the Atlanta, Georgia eatery at around 5am after a concert.
“He and five members of his entourage were involved in a fight with a male customer inside the Waffle House,” a police spokesperson told Billboard at the time.
Another customer recognized a woman in Rock’s party, and words were exchanged. The situation in the Waffle House quickly escalated from there.
“It escalated to a physical altercation between Kid Rock and that male customer and moved outside to the parking lot,” the police spokesperson continued.
Rock left in his tour bus, but was tracked down by police around one mile away. He was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, spending 12 hours in jail before he was released. Rock was ultimately sentenced to one year of probation for this.

Both Rock and Boebert are clearly two people who like to do things their own way. In the end, they might just be a match made in heaven. Only time will tell if they ever end up dating!
