Cancel culture has been running rampant for years now, and many feel that it has gone too far. That’s why the comedian Joe Rogan has decided that now is the time to launch an anti-cancel culture comedy club in Texas!

Rogan Opens Anti-Cancel Culture Comedy Club

The New York Post reported that Rogan just opened Comedy Mothership in Austin, and it will feature a lineup of “canceled” comedians that includes David Lucas, Ron White, Tim Dillon, Tony Hinchcliffe and Roseanne Barr.

“I’m drunk and on mushrooms in my new club! This is as high as I’ve ever been onstage,” said Rogan, 55. “I need to connect with this moment.”

Rogan went on to say that his goal was to create an environment where comedians could share their dark humor without the fear of being cancelled.

“You can’t fire me from my own club, b–ch!” he defiantly exclaimed.

The first show at Comedy Mothership took place on March 7, and it sold out within minutes.

“I felt compelled to do it … I never wanted to own a comedy club, and I always felt like you just had to be nice to comedy club owners because you never want to be one of those people,” Rogan said. “But then when I knew I was moving here, and [Austin’s Capital City Comedy Club] was already closed. I was like, ‘Maybe I should buy a f–king club, and start a club.’ And that became my focus.”

Located in the Sixth Street entertainment district, the alien-themed club encourages patrons to research comedians who will be performing to avoid any disturbances.

“Comedy is subjective and certain comedians are not for everybody. Watching a YouTube clip or reading the headliner’s biography is a great way to get insight on the expected performance,” the Comedy Mothership website states.

Roseanne Barr Performs

Roseanne Barr, who was infamously cancelled for making a joke about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett, has already performed at the club.

“After 30 years of fighting ABC to have black writers and black characters on my show and then having the same f—ing libtards turn around and call me a racist, it really f—ing pissed me off,” she said during her act. “I want to thank Joe for building this wonderful Mothership for comedians. It’s so great in the green room with everybody up there being drunk and smoking pot.”

Rogan himself can’t believe that he actually made this club.

“It doesn’t feel real. I know it’s real, but it doesn’t feel real … I was super nervous today,” he said after Barr performed. “I think I just like risks. I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, let’s buy a building on a street filled with crack addicts.’ Like, I want someone to say no to me. They’re all like, ‘OK, go ahead.’”

Rogan’s Dream Podcast Guest

Rogan also revealed that his dream guest on his hugely successful podcast would be Hunter Biden.

“I can turn this around for you,” Rogan said. “If my dad had Alzheimer’s, and I was doing coke, I would have done the exact same s–t you did. I really want to get him on.”

Many will certainly agree with Rogan that cancel culture has gone way too far. God bless him for doing his part to fight against it by launching this comedy club!
