Hot on the heels of his return, we’ve got rumblings about John Cena’s WrestleMania opponent. And after her surprise return, we look at reactions to Charlotte Flair’s big title win from SmackDown.

John Cena’s WrestleMania Opponent

We are getting close to the biggest event for WWE, and now we are hearing about who John Cena’s WrestleMania opponent could be.

And, per WrestlingNews.co, it could be a big one.

We’ve seen Logan Paul essentially ask for it, and it appears he is going to get it.

It, in this case, would be a match on the Grandest Stage of Them All as John Cena’s WrestleMania opponent.

Pretty crazy, right?

Absolutely, but in fairness, considering his 2022 matches, Logan Paul has proved himself worthy.

Cena, of course, returned to the WWE ring on the final SmackDown of 2022 and looked as if he’d never left.

Paul, for his part in all of it, is in the midst of rehabbing an injury he suffered during his epic title match at Crown Jewel.

Fortunately for Logan, that knee injury was not as bad as initially reported.

Had it been as bad as initially feared, then Paul’s WrestleMania 39 dreams would have likely been just that-dreams.

At this point, he is expected to be cleared to wrestle, and all signs are pointing to Cena-Paul being a featured match on one of the two Hollywood nights.

If you told me a year ago that we’d be getting excited for Logan Paul and John Cena, I’d think you were crazy.

Now, after the few matches Paul had in 2022? Not crazy at all.

Reaction To Charlotte’s Win

In case you missed SmackDown, we’ve got reaction to Charlotte Flair’s win.

Yes, Charlotte Flair returned to SmackDown on the December 30th show.

And yes, she actually wrestled.

To be completely clear, she didn’t just wrestle any old match.

Flair returned at the end of a long match between Ronda Rousey and Raquel Rodriguez, where Rousey successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Charlotte came out and challenged Rousey for another match. Rousey accepted…and lost.

Before we get into reactions to Flair’s big win, I have to point out…she came out to a re-done theme. Not bad.

Fans, as you’d expected, had reactions to the unexpected title change.

Of course, not everyone liked the return and the results.

But, a couple voices I think with more reasoning to put out there…though I get JD’s point too.

I concur with Ryan Satin-regardless of whether you liked her getting the belt back ASAP or not-very interested to see how Flair is booked under Triple H.

Buckle up, folks. 2023 is going to be very interesting very quick.
