Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the British Royal Family have long lived by the mantra of “Keep calm and carry on.” To them, this means that they never respond to tabloid rumors, and instead simply keep their cool and move on with things.

Now, however, this is all about to change.

In recent weeks, palace officials have let it be known that the Royal Family will no longer be staying silent in the face of claims being made against them by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Harry And Meghan’s Attacks On Royals

Best Life Online reported that after Meghan and Harry accused the Royal Family of racism and mental cruelty in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, the Queen responded to the claims in a brief statement in which she said that “recollections may vary” in regards to the allegations.

When Harry accused the Royal Family of being insensitive towards mental health struggles in his Apple TV+ documentary The Me You Can’t See, the royals stayed silent once again.

“At that point, the family felt it best to stay the course and do what they always did which was to keep calm and carry on,” a source said. “But things keep escalating. The Palace was starting to realize something had to be done about the nonstop barrage of these destructive and questionable comments.”

Harry And Meghan Cross The Line

It was the new documentary from ITV Harry and William: What Went Wrong, which premiered last Sunday, that allegedly forced the palace to decide that it was time to “step in.”

Omid Scobie, a friend of Meghan and Harry’s who wrote the book “Finding Freedom,” suggested that Kensington Palace aides planted stories in newspapers about Harry’s mental health. He then shockingly indicated that William was the person who told aides to do this.

Sources say that this is the straw that broke the camel’s back for the palace.

“[Scobie’s] comments crossed the line and could not be ignored,” said a royal source. “William was deeply concerned about Harry’s state of mind and would have never had his staff leak stories about his brother’s mental health. Besides being protective of the family, William has been championing the need for mental health awareness for years. The Palace had to step in.”

While Scobie’s comments were included in the rough cut of the documentary, the reference to Harry’s mental health were removed after palace officials stepped in and warned ITV that they could be considered defamatory.

Instead, this comment from Scobie was aired in its place: “I would say it was no coincidence that it was shortly after [the Bradby interview] aired, I believe the next day, that there was source quotes that came from a very senior aide at Kensington Palace that said that William was worried about his brother. Now, whether William directed that or not, no one will ever know. But it came from his household, the household that he is the boss of.”

‘Clearly A Warning Shot’

“This was clearly a warning shot that these kinds of allegations will not be left unaddressed,” one insider said. “Harry and Meghan now know their comments and those of their supporters won’t go unchecked. It could be a game changer.”

We’re glad to see that the Queen is not going to put up with this nonsense any longer.

The “Keep calm and carry on” mantra may have worked in decades past, but Meghan and Harry have no shame. And, they have shown time and time again that they will say absolutely anything against the Royal Family.

Hopefully Meghan and Harry heard this warning shot loud and clear, because the Queen will not be letting them walk all over her anymore.
