The son of Arn Anderson reportedly signed a developmental contract with AEW. The news was revealed by the wrestling legend himself during his ARN Podcast.
Arn Anderson Son AEW Developmental Contract
Arn Anderson proudly announced his son is learning from the all-time greats in the AEW locker room. Among the names, he mentioned Dean Malenko and Jake Roberts.
“[Brock] has been signed to a developmental contract and he’s continuing to train. “He is at all the TVs and he’s been around the coaches room, he hangs out a little bit during the day and he has the opportunity to be in the room with Dean Malenko, Dustin Rhodes, myself, Jake The Snake Roberts, Jerry Lynn. All sitting around bullshitting but you can imagine the number of years of experience and stories he’s getting to hear sitting in that room and the knowledge he can acquire just listening.”
Considering his famous father, Brock will be one to look out for on the AEW roster!
“He’s a real student of the business, he watches everything, listens to podcasts and he really works hard in the gym, he has certainly by-passed me. He’s picking up the basics and fundamentals, when he’s ready to debut, we’re always super critical of new talent that we see. Wrestling fans are fair but judgemental, they will judge him accordingly. He won’t be without training and having paid some dues. He’s not going to get any special treatment and I think you’ll be happy with the product you see. I’m real proud of his success so far.”
Arn Anderson & AEW
Arn Anderson himself is an amazing addition to AEW at the moment. Needless to say, the WWE might be kicking themselves for letting him go.
Anderson has been quite prolific as the head coach and advisor of Cody Rhodes. Cody on the other hand, has enjoyed many title wins with Anderson by his side.
Despite his coach role, Anderson remains a big presence on AEW Dynamite. Just last week, he was the enforcer during a match between The Nightmare Family and QT Marshall.
Unfortunately, Anderson got the short end of the stick at the end of the match. In fact, he was laid out by QT Marshall who came up with his own stable.
The attack on Anderson will undoubtedly lead to a massive feud between QT Marshall’s faction and The Nightmare Family. Of course, we cannot forget about the attack on Cody and other members of the Nightmare family.
This week’s AEW Dynamite should bring more news about repercussions for QT Marshall. But with this storyline, it seems Anderson and Cody once again have an amazing story to their name.
But what will happen if Anderson’s son eventually comes to the main roster. Will Anderson dump Cody in favor of his own son?
Or will Anderson’s son come up as a heel to take revenge on his father for coaching Cody? Needless to say, the possibilities are literally endless when it comes to storylines for this wrestling giant.
