Major Changes Happening To Undisputed Era
WWE officials are planning to make both Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly top babyfaces in NXT.
The turn from heel to babyface for Cole has been ongoing since his loss to Finn Balor for the vacant NXT title back in September at Super Tuesday II.
During a match with Austin Theory on NXT, Cole’s actions were that of a babyface. The plan is for him to be the top babyface on the NXT brand.
As for O’Reilly, his role has continually shifted more to that of a babyface, as well. He lines up to meet Balor for the NXT title on NXT TakeOver 31 this coming Sunday.
Both Cole and O’Reilly were complimentary of one another during NXT. Cole even went as far as to predict O’Reilly would defeat Balor to become the champion.
Kyle has worked his ASS off for years. And Sunday at Takeover, Kyle will get what he deserves. There is nobody who has your back more than me…nobody…@WWENXT @KORcombat

O’Reilly returned to the favor during his face-off with Balor, which was handled by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
With this shift, it signals the end of The Undisputed Era for the time being. Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish are expected to remain a heel tag team. They are scheduled to face Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch in a No. 1 contender match for the tag titles.

The Undisputed Era debuted on NXT in 2017 and has dominated the brand. Cole, Fish and O’Reilly are the founding members, with Strong joining a year later.
One of the many highlights involving the stable was their battle with Imperium ahead of Worlds Collide, a co-branded pay-per-view with NXT and NXT UK. Imperium would earn a victory in the feud.
All total, the group has won six titles in NXT, claiming the NXT championship once, North American title twice and tag belts three times.

With the filings, a description includes “IC 009. US 021 023 026 036 038. G & S: Downloadable game software; Downloadable computer game software for use on mobile and cellular phones; Downloadable electronic game software for use on handheld computers and mobile gaming devices; Downloadable video game programs; Recorded video game software.”
During an interview with Gamespot, Kenny Omega revealed a little more information on the prospects of a video game being released. Omega is an AEW Executive Vice President and wrestler.
“I can’t say too much more other than I am working very closely creatively with a team,” Omega said. “And every few weeks, they have very exciting new things to show us. I believe that we’re on the right track because I think we have a good team backing us with a lot of very, very good hands that are very capable. And when I can say more, I certainly will. And I’m really excited to show the first little bit of footage that we have.
“It’s a little ways away. We’re not going to be competing head-to-head against WWE Battlegrounds anytime soon. When the game is ready, when it will release, I think it has a very good chance of standing alone as probably the best wrestling product as a video game that you could probably find on the market. That’s the hope anyway.”
