It’s time to look at the 2020 Royal Rumble rumors that could make this event very interesting.

Here we go!

Our Favorite Of The 2020 Royal Rumble Rumors: Edge Returns!

Are the 2020 Royal Rumble Rumors about Edge's return true?

If we would have to pick one rumor we desperately hope is true, it would be the return of Edge at the 2020 Royal Rumble. It is believed that Edge signed a wrestling contract with the WWE weeks ago and that he is set to participate in the rumble. While Edge and the company have continued to deny all rumors, many believe this is something that will happen. We hope so, too…

Harlem Heat Faces The Revival

Will Harlem Heat Face the WWE Revival At The 2020 Royal Rumble?

Both members of Harlem Heat and The Revival have allegedly begged management to make this match happen.

Over the past couple of weeks, there has been a clear tension between Booker T. and The Revival.

The Revival even questioned Booker’s Hall of Fame status. In other words, they have done everything they can to make this match happen.

Whether or not it will happen, we will have to see on Sunday.

NXT’s Io Shirai Will Win The Women’s Royal Rumble

Io Shirai

This rumor has intensified over the last couple of days. However, the source is Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer, so be sure to take this rumor with a massive grain of salt.

There have been significant talk that a NXT superstar will win the women’s Royal Rumble. Most believe it will be Shayna Baszler, as her storylines on NXT seem to be running out.

However, there could be a dark horse in the race in the form of Io Shirai.

According to Meltzer, Io Shirai is not happy with her current position in NXT. In fact, Stardom is eager to get her back. So, he claims the WWE has decided to pull her to the main roster. A win at the 2020 Royal Rumble could most certainly do that efficiently.

We must mention that Io is not the only name that is mentioned for a potential call-up during the rumble.

Shayna Baszler is high on the list as well, and several male superstars have been flagged as potential call-ups also.

So, the 2020 Royal Rumble rumors keep coming!

Shannon Moore Returns During The Royal Rumble

Shannon Moore

Shannon Moore is a former WWE Hardcore Champion who has been away from the company for 12 years. We recently reported that the former champion has been pulled from a wrestling event in Canada due to “WWE obligations.”

In other words, a strong hint that the former champion is on his way back.

Braun Strowman Gets Title Opportunity Against Shinsuke Nakamura

Braun Strowman and Shinsuke Nakamura

The WWE have been building a feud between Shinsuke Nakamura and Braun Strowman, but no match has been officially confirmed between the two at the 2020 Royal Rumble. However, we still have one episode of SmackDown left so it could still happen.

There is a big possibility that a match will be booked between the Monster Among Men and Nakamura.

While the match on its own is already an exciting possibility, it could actually lead to Strowman’s first singles title.

The Fiend Defeats Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan and The Fiend

Even though there are many fake advertising materials out there, a local advertisement in Saudi Arabia may have spoiled the outcome of the Daniel Bryan and Fiend match at the 2020 Royal Rumble.

The advertisement mentions Kane as The Fiend’s opponent, this would mean that Daniel Bryan takes a loss at the rumble. But where does this leave Daniel Bryan going forward?

Shayna Baszler Wins The Women’s Royal Rumble

Shayna Baszler

Even though there are significant rumors that Io Shirai may be called up to the main roster, we cannot ignore the possibility that Shayna Baszler may win the entire Royal Rumble.

In fact, most betting agents have Baszler as the leading favorite going into it.

Baszler winning the women’s rumble is one of the most persistent 2020 Royal Rumble rumors and it seems it might be accurate.

After all, Shayna has lost her title and seems to be finishing things off in NXT.

Nia Jax Makes Her Return

Nia Jax returns at the Royal Rumble?

Nia Jax has been out for a considerable time with an injury. As she needed double knee surgery in April, 2019, she has been out for nearly an entire year. However, sources claim that her return timetable is lining up with the 2020 Royal Rumble.

Jax returning at the rumble could turn the tables on the potential winner. That being said, if Shayna or Io enter and they are being called up to the main roster, a win might not happen for Nia.

Of course, it does not mean that she won’t be able to enjoy a nice feud on the way.

CM Punk Enters The Royal Rumble

CM Punk returns at the WWE Royal Rumble?

CM Punk is the favorite to win the 2020 Royal Rumble. One little problem though, he is not even officially in the rumble. There have been lots of rumors of Punk stepping back into the ring during the rumble, but this has been vehemently denied by the WWE.

The denials of the WWE are not stopping Punk from toying with his fans though. Over the past couple of weeks, he has been laying in some strong hints on social media. Of course, we have no way of knowing if he is actually returning or just having some fun at the expensive of fans and wrestling reporters.

So, we have no way of knowing until Sunday!
