Kanye West is continuing his faith journey by releasing a Christian Album titled “Jesus Is King.” Recently, at his latest Pop Up Sunday Service, the rapper announced this new venture into religious music will be released later this month.
People Line Up to Hear Kanye’s Sermon
His latest church service was in Atlanta at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Over 600 people piled in to witness Kanye’s sermon. The “Gold Digger” singer was such a draw that people lined up hours advance to secure a place at the church services. Worshipers were treated to the news that Kanye’s album “Jesus Is King” will be available September 27th.

This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. In fact, Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian West teased the album’s release last month on social media. RELATED: Kim and Kanye Hire Private Firefighters to Save Their Neighborhood

Kanye Turns Toward God
The rapper is working hard to turn his life towards God and become a better Christian and father. He is doing this by spreading Jesus’ message to the masses through his Sunday Services in different locations around the country and now with his album. He is not shy about his new focus on God.
“Thank you for saving me, for replenishing me, for delivering me,” West said in a prayer. “When I found out about you — I got closer to my children. I got closer to my family because the devil had me chasing a gold statue, had me chasing cars, had me chasing numbers.”
“The power of God cannot be calculated by a number, by a first-week sale, by a bank account, by how many cars you drive, by how big your house is, and how many acres you got,” West told worshipers. “It’s God inside of us. It’s God inside of family. It’s God inside of friendship that we hold each other accountable.”
Kanye Addresses Fatherless Homes
West views the fatherless homes as a crisis that Christians must address. As a community, we should seek to fill that gap. If men don’t see a positive role model for children, they should be that role model. RELATED: Roseanne Barr Speaks Out To Defend Kanye West For ‘Coming Out’ As Trump Supporter
“The fathers. If it’s a household next to yours that’s lacking a father, you [be] that father now,” West encouraged the crowd. “You speak up on that block. You set that example.”
Kanye is proof that we all have the ability to change and that like the prodigal son, we will always be welcomed back home to God.
Actor Brad Pitt has applauded West for his Sunday Services. The “Inglourious Basterds” star attended West’s Sunday Service over Labor Day weekend. Kanye is shaking up Hollywood by being a Trump supporter and bringing Hollywood A-Listers to Jesus!
“I think he’s doing something really special there,” Pitt said. “It’s pure celebration of life and people and it’s really delightful, it really is.”
