-In something that we’ve known was coming, WWE has finally confirmed their return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We had previously reported that the date was in flux, moving from an earlier spring date. The company now confirmed that the return to KSA is set for June 7th.

What is perhaps most interesting from WWE’s announcement are the names confirmed to be involved in the next show.

It has already been acknowledged that WWE legend The Undertaker would be appearing. It had also been confirmed that former Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was locked in to appear. When Lesnar’s appearance was confirmed, it was believed at that time that it would be one of The Beast’s final appearances for WWE under his most recent contract.

Brock Lesnar’s status with the company might be about to change, however, as it was reported yesterday that Lesnar informed UFC’s Dana White that he was in fact now retired from MMA. This announcement basically ends the hope of a Lesnar-Daniel Cormier fight this year. That fight had been expected ever since Lesnar confronted Cormier, inside The Octagon, at the end of a bout last year.

Lesnar and The Undertaker are not the only Superstars of note in the announcement, however. While the company of course touts main roster staples like AJ Styles and Seth Rollins, they have also added a recent inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame: Goldberg.

It’s interesting because there really has not been a lot of chatter surrounding Goldberg since he faded away following his induction and retirement. Assuming he is actually working a match, it would be his first in roughly two years.

There has been no name announced for the event. The event that took place roughly a year ago was The Greatest Royal Rumble, which could be an easier match for Goldberg to work.

With the event formally announced, we can expect more show news to come out over the next month.
