All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) first show, Double or Nothing, is in the books and they delivered on all cylinders. The biggest story from the show was Jon Moxley (formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE) debuting at the conclusion of the promotion’s first event.

In the main event, Chris Jericho defeated Kenny Omega to earn a future title shot. Then Moxley came through the crowd to a massive pop. He hit Jericho and the referee with dirty deed and then turned his attention to Omega. They brawled up the ramp, which saw Moxley send Omega crashing through a table to conclude the show.

After the show, AEW President Tony Khan spoke to the press and confirmed that Moxley signed on full-time with the promotion. Khan also noted that Moxley will be allowed to work Indy dates. He said Moxley approached him shortly after his WWE contract expired and he will debut June 29 at Fyter Fest in Florida. As of now, no opponent is announced but Omega has to be a front runner.

Also during the show, Bret Hart made a surprise appearance to showcase the new AEW World Championship. Jericho and Adam Page will meet at a future date to see who becomes the inaugural champion. There are some reports that Hart tripped on his way back up the ramp, but that not been confirmed.
