–All Elite Wrestling has been making a lot of waves lately. The promotion was formally announced earlier this year. Their first show, Double or Nothing, is still a couple months away. That is not stopping them from continuing to make more news, however.
Today, Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes announced via his Twitter account that the company’s next event would take place in July.

Fight for the Fallen will take place in Jacksonville, Florida. The venue that was selected is Daily’s Place Amphitheater, which should seat around 5.500 for the event-depending on the configuration.
It is encouraging to see the company booking additional big events, considering Double or Nothing doesn’t happen until May 25.
-In some sadder news, actor Luke Perry passed away today. Perry is the father of AEW talent Jungle Boy, and was himself a wrestling fan.

1st got to meet Luke when Dad brought him backstage at wcw. The highlight of my match in the cow palace was him coming back to tell us we did a good job. Blessed to have the chance to talk to him recently about his son. He was part of our wrestling family & will be sorely missed

We at WNZ send our condolences to the Perry family during this painful time.
-As we all know by now, Bruce Prichard is back with WWE in a creative capacity. What may not have been immediately clear is that he was actually back from earlier in 2019.
Wrestling Observer confirmed that, while Prichard was recently brought in as a full timer, he was actually engaged as a contracted consultant from January.
