– The New Day continues to be on a roll in the WWE, carved in the company’s history as the longest-reigning tag champs. While their gimmick is entertaining, anything over time can turn stale after a while.
Having said that, Bryan Alvarez stated during Filthy Four Daily recently that Chairman Vince McMahon has once again been pondering the idea of switching things up for this well-over WWE faction. According to Alvarez, he thought about this a year ago, and is now considering it again. Alvarez did note that this is VKM we are talking about, and he does change his mind all time; however, the McMahon family did promise some change ups to the brand and roster during the December 18th edition of RAW when they declared a “fresh start”, so anything is possible.
Before all you New Day fans get too overly worried, Alvarez didn’t state a heel turn or break up, so this could just mean Vince has a slight gimmick change in mind. Only time will tell.
– Sadly, Toni Storm, winner of the 2018 Mae Young Classic, is the recent victim of some scandalous nude videos and photos being leaked on line. The good news is that the wrestling world is getting behind Storm, with a #WeSupportToniStorm hashtag that is trending on Twitter. The bad news? Toni has deleted all her social media accounts, most likely due to mean comments/feedback from wrestling fans.
One superstar who knows all too well what Toni is dealing with is women’s wrestling legend and WWE talent, Paige, who dealt with a massive depression when her nude videos and photos were leaked in 2017. Paige took to Twitter to show her support of Toni, tweet below:
#WeSupportToniStorm from someone that has experienced the same thing I strongly support you girl. It’s gonna be hard and people are gonna be mean because they don’t understand. But you’re a strong, talented woman. You’ll get through this. Your future is too bright to be dimmed.

NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo also hopped on the social media platform, and had this to say:
Toni Storm is an amazing performer and more importantly, a good person. I am sickened by what she has had to endure. The harrassment and invasion of privacy in our society needs to stop. NOW! #WeSupportToni

Here’s hoping Toni can move on from this controversy to enjoy a successful WWE career.
