Dr. Phil Meets Most Out Of Control Teen Yet!

Tom and Karen have an out of control teen daughter named Madison. They are so desperate to get her some help that they turned to Dr. Phil. The blunt TV host served up a dose of truthfulness this family wasn’t ready to hear, but it is in their best interest to listen.

Madison’s behavior is erratic. Imagine a teenage hellion mixed with a two-year-old. That’s Madison. In addition to screaming when she doesn’t get her way and throwing complete temper tantrums at age 15, Madison has also been charged with grand theft auto. In addition, she hits and threatens her parents.

They have to lock down their house just to sleep as they fear Madison might hurt them while they are sleeping. They also do this to protect their other children. These parents are living a nightmare!

Tom and Karen haven’t held Madison accountable for her actions. They have dropped legal actions against her, so she has gotten free passes. It is hard to teach a child their actions have consequences when the consequences are removed.

These parents are at their wit’s end. Not only is Madison more than a handful, she is attempting to corrupt her 13-year-old sister into the same sort of behavior. Watch her tantrum backstage after walking off Dr. Phil’s stage, upset over a discussion about getting some help.

Madison ended up returning to the show after throwing her tantrum. Dr. Phil was rather blunt with this family. He points out that Tom and Karen have created a seriously dysfunctional family. Madison has never been taught to respect boundaries and walks all over her parents. This is not a good situation for anyone.

Dr. Phil advises these frustrated parents that the next time she is arrested, they should allow Madison to face the consequences of her actions.
