Fans all over the world grieved when Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray in 2006. His enthusiasm for wildlife and conservation was contagious and fun to watch. He certainly hasn’t been forgotten.
The Crocodile Hunter is getting a huge honor almost eleven years after his death. His family was recently informed that he will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Steve’s widow Terri tweeted a video of the family finding out. It’s so adorable as both Bindi and Robert inherited Steve’s excitable spirit!

Bindi also posted the big news on Instagram. She and Robert are carrying on the work that Steve left behind, so a Hollywood Star will help provide current exposure for the needs of wildlife.
